Unless I provide someone my number in order to contact me I do not wish to be called. Telemarketers do not pay for my phone, they do not pay for my phone service. If they compensated me for my service, my time and my equipment then they would have the right to contact me. Since they do not compensate me, nor do I want to be compensated by them they do not have the right to contact me. I have made my voice heard and they should not be allowed to call me until such time as I request communications from them. My opting out from their marketing infringe on their free speech. Their right to use my resources at no cost to them is not in my opinion covered under free speech. More than enough mediums through which they can market to us without it further taking away from us the right to maintain the privacy of our own home. The idea that after placing my name on a do not call list in order ot protect my privacy from telemarketers is important to me and my right to privacy
