I think the amendment would be a very bad decision. Prerecorded message or not, many consumers simply feel terribly annoyed at the ability of these companies to invade every facet of our lives. Allowing prerecorded messages would be backtracking the advancements made that allowed us some privacy. I feel homes are sacred places to the families living in them, and they should be allowed the ability to keep it between them and whoever they want. Giving companies this ability would ruin that.
