Comments:
I strongly oppose any relaxation of the rules restricting the activities of telemarketers. I consider the recent successful implementation of the national do-not-call list and its attendant reduction in telephone spam to be the most unambiguously successful thing the federal government has done for me in the past few years. I was looking forward to seeing further restrictions on intrusive marketing, and any am disappointed that there is serious talk of backsliding.
