I think this is a very bad idea. With a pre-recorded message, there is no way for me to request being put on their do-not-call list. Most of the time when I've tried calling the number given, the person at the other end [pretends?] to have no idea what I'm talking about. Also, if I call them, there's a very strong possibility that they will misconstrue that as a 'previous relationship' for the next time they call. The current federal do-not-call system appears to be working pretty well -- don't mess it up!
