Anything that can be done to keep telemarketers from interfering with the limited family time we have would be greatly appreciated. At present, we get numerous calls daily that, once answered are "not there" because they are computer generated and have been "picked up" on another person's line. To change the existing legislation's language to permit more calls would be a greater intrusion on our personal time. Telemarketers are undesired intruders into our lives. We do business in person, online or by mail. We do NOT do business with telemarketers and do not wish any further contact with them. We are on the "do not call list," and this still does not give us the privacy we seek. We want no further telemarketers to bother us by changing your changing the language in the current legislation. Please do not make the proposed changes. Sincerely, Gary E. Freed
