Comments:
I would like all pre-recorded messages to be banned. They are more intrusive and offending than normal telemarketing calls, since you can not request to be removed from the list immediately. The FTC should ban all pre-recorded messages, or manage a seperate list for individuals that never wish to recieve any pre-recorded message. Unfortuantely, if the FTC continues down the path of allowing automated harassment, then consumers phones will be flodded with spom (phone spam). The FTC endorsement of this automated harassment, will make the phone as useless as email is without spam-filtering software. Once the FTC endorses this method of Unsolicited Commercial Advertising, the burden will be unfairly upon consumers to prevent their continual harassment and interuption. Sincerely, Tara Sitz
