|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:I signed up for the National Do-Not-Call list in order to avoid pushy telemarketers. Opening a loophole to allow pre-recorded messages from the same is still unacceptable. Regardless of whether or not I have an existing business relationship with said company, I simply DO NOT want anyone calling me except those people *I* choose to have call. The National Do-Not-Call list was a great thing, and a lot of people were pleased to see our government finally do something right. Opening a loophole like this is a step backwards.
