Please do not allow this to occur. Our laws must remain simplified to take into account the various means (technical and otherwise) that Direct Marketers and other parties can take to subvert the intended purpose and spirit of our privacy laws. I do not want pre-recorded-anything being sent to my number, without my express permission. Such an entity should not "assume permission unless directly told otherwise" (another loophole for abuse). Please keep our information private and continue to protect the rights we have from being exploited by unwanted business practices.
