In regards to the proposal allowing pre-recorded message telemarketing: I signed up for the Do Not Call Registry because I do not want to be called. The pre-recorded messages to my voicemail are particularly annoying as they are lengthy and take up space reserved for calls I truly want. My telephone and voicemail are services I pay for intended for my use and convenience, not for the use and convenience of telemarketers. I would prefer you do not change the rule. If you must, then I would prefer that an opt in policy be adopted, rather than the inconvenience of an opt out policy. I already signed up for the Do Not Call Registry to opt out of telemarketing calls. Thank you.
