|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:I STRONGLY oppose this change in the "no call" rules. If I wanted firms where I have a "relationship" to call me, I would tell them that. I don't want ANY marketing calls, and I believe most people on the "do not call list" feel the same way. That is why we put ourselves on the "do not call list". Also, the definition of "relationship" is too vague and open to abuse. The charitable solicitation calls that are allowed are too much already. I urge you to STREGTHEN the "do not call" rules, not weaken them.
