I am AGAINST the proposed change. The National Do-Not-Call List was created to allow people to DECLINE to receive telemarketing calls. Opening this loophole would go directly against the obvious legislative intent and the obvious desires of the consumers. The list, as it currently operates, is working; there is no need to change the rules, and CERTAINLY no justification whatsoever for doing precisely what the list was intended NOT to do.
