There already are too many loopholes and exceptions to this law. Please do NOT allow telemarketing calls that deliver a prerecorded message! I have received calls like that in the past, and they are even more annoying than regular telemarketing calls. I made a point to never buy again from those companies. They can take valuable space on an answering machine, better used for real people with wanted messages. The aggravation of listening to those pre-recorded calls can also stop someone from listening to all the messages, thereby missing important messages. Pre-recorded messages are also humanly degrading -- I don't want to talk or listen to a machine. There are no reasons why telemarketers would have the right to use up my private answering resources when I have already signified I don't want to be contacted by them. I registered on this list to make it clear that I want telemarketers to leave me alone. Why would anyone keep insisting that I want to hear their telemarketing message? How stupid is it to annoy, aggravate and harass customers? The answer is that the goal of telemarketers is to aggress and attack customers. This change would again allow aggression from telemarketers. I want control of my telephone. I want a safe telephone service. Please do not allow this change!
