This rule change is absurd. Telemarketing amounts to theft of service, in my opinion. I pay for my phone access, not the telemarketing companies. Because I purchase access to the phone network does not give anyone the *right* to call me. When the FTC provides a mechanism for me to bill the telemarketers for access to my line, then maybe such a rule might be reasonable. Until then, stop letting businesses steal my phone service.
