Comments:
I am STRONGLY against allowing recorded messages as telemarketing calls. These calls cannot be stopped, they fill up space on your personal answering machine, and they will be NOT be limited by any weak rule you pass along with this change. I have already been exposed to a similar torrent of recorded messages during the recent political campaign. I received as many as 12-15 recorded messages per day, and these recordings would last 60-90 seconds each. I was unable to receive my normal messages. To consider allowing this condition to exist all year long would be intolerable. DO NOT approve any rule change that would allow recorded messages as telemarketing calls.
