Telemarketers are the plague of the telephone sytem. I eagerly signed up for the "do not call" list as soon as I could and it has made an unbelievable improvement in my life. I no longer have telemarketers calling me ad nausium. Having human telemarketers call was incredibly annoying. Having prerecorded telemarketers call is intolerable! With a human, I can say the magic words "please put me on your do not call list" and I should never be bothered by _that_ telemarketer again. There is no way to do this with recordings. Please do not countenance this intolerable request to allow recorders to call me! Thank you, Gerald Van Baren
