I registered for the Do Not Call list because I am sick of getting endless telemarketing calls. Obviously if prerecorded calls are allowed, people on the Do Not Call will be inundated with them and the list will be rendered useless. Please do not be so naive as to think telemarketers will abide by pre-existing relationship restrictions. In the unlikely event that I have had dealings with some of these companies, I still do not want my dinners interrupted by endless pre-recorded messages from them. Please have some sense and deny telemarketers this gaping loophole!
