I placed my name on the No Call list because I specifically DID NOT want any telemarketing calls whatsoever. I am daily bombarded by spam emails, pop-up ads, television commercials, radio commercials, et cetra, ad infinitum. My home is supposed to be a safe haven in which I can choose which content to subject myself to, IF I wish to subject myself to it. If you allow telemarketers to call even if I submitted my name to the national Do Not Call List, it makes this so much like every other meaningless form of legislation. Empty promises to some faux semblance of privacy. I urge you to please NOT make this just one more empty promise to the American public. We look to the lawmakers and legislators to protect our rights and privacy, not sell us out to the higest bidder just to see a better bottom line. Thank you for your time.
