Why should I pay for the convenience of phone service to have someone use it to bombard me with marketing pitches? Why should I pay for the convenience of a telephone answering machine to have it used to record marketing pitches? I am grateful for the do-not-call list. Please do not ruin it by allowing recorded messages.
