The purpose of a do-not-call list is to prevent receiving telemarketing calls. If I place myself on a do-not-call list, then the mere ordering of a product from a company should not override that decision. In addition, providing greater access for pre-recorded messages is troubling, since you can tell a person to remove you from their call list and hang up, but a pre-recorded message ties up your phone line and prevents you from responding. I strongly urge you to adopt the position that the do-not-call list overrides all other criteria, and enforce rules that prevent ANY contact from telemarketers if a number is on that list. Thank you for your attention.
