I'm surprised that this sort of idea is even being entertained. Don't lawmakers understand the difference between a good idea and a bad idea? Are they incapable of distinguishing between something that serves a purpose, and something that does not help the general public? Who's best interest does this serve? A Do-Not-Call list was created so that people on that list would NOT receive calls, in any form. This obviously does not serve those people. This provision would create too much of a loophole for those that could and would abuse it. Don't let this happen, please. If you are a someone on the committee that intends to see this through, I hope you rot in hell for the crimes you perpetrate against your fellow man, just so you can make a buck. Your greed will catch up with you in the end.
