To put it simply any changes that result in anything but a decrease in telesales calls is unacceptable. Anything that lets companies use pre-recorded sales pitches is unacceptable. Anything that lets them make calls to cell phones or the up and coming VOIP service is unacceptable. Any rule changes that opens up the Do Not Call list to any other use than simply a list of illegal numbers to call is unacceptable. Rule changes that requires any telemarketer to give their personal phone number, their full name, and their home address, as well as that of the CEO of their company is acceptable. Any rule changes that allow for someone to walk up to any person that proposes rule changes that are so blatently stupid and make it painfully obvious that said person is in the pocket of the telemarketing industry, and punch them in face is acceptable.
