Comments:
As a private citizen, I pay the telephone company to maintain an operating telephone line to my home. This line is for my own use to make outgoing telephone calls and receive those incoming calls which I elect to answer. My telephone line is NOT maintained in whole or in part for the convenience of telemarketers. I object to any changes in the telemarketing regulations commonly referred to as the "do not call list" that would make it easier for any organizations to telephone me at home to solicit my business. I regard such telemarketing solicitations as an invasion of my privacy. I do NOT wish to receive any recorded messages from anybody.
