Pre-recorded messages are possibly even more irritating than a sales pitch from a real person. Please do the right thing. No consumer is actually grateful for receiving these calls. Even if a company and I do have an "established business relationship," I don't want them calling my home. I'll call them if I have to. My father is a musician, so in my house we have always been accustomed to running to pick up the phone when it rings-- after all, a phone call might mean work. Think for a minute about the absurdity of running out of the shower wrapped in a towel in order to hear a tape of someone telling you to change your long distance plan. Honestly.
