Dear Sirs, First I want to say what a relief the "do not call list has been to me". I have a disabled wife, so I do the housework and cook dinner, after I come home from a hard day at work. It used to be that I had to deal with cold calls from people trying to gussy up some business at the same time I was doing this. Since registering for the do not all list, these calls have all from vanished. When I do get one, I just tell them I am on the list. Sometimes I am then blasted indignantly by someone who angrily tells me that nonprofits are exempted . I politely tell them that I still don't want to be called. They can be pretty rude at times. I don't think any kind of call should be exempted. It would be an added annoyance to my life if you let people call me with recordings. Rather than create more loopholes in the law, you should think about closing the few loopholes that are already there. People should have their homes for their private lives. The FTC has gone a long way towards making things better in this respect. Don't turn back. Sincereley, Charles Frohman
