I feel that any ammendment which allows DNC list members to be called more often or with relaxed restrictions is a very bad idea. There are already plenty of loopholes and ways around this rule as it is, in addition to the fact that the participation in the list is completely optional. I personally put my phone number on the DNC list trusting that the rules put in place at the time wouldn't change drastically, and I feel that this kind of ammendment breaches the trust that I put in this system. I am sure many others feel the same way, but most won't even know that there are proposals to make these changes, and won't have the opportunity to comment.
