Don't break a good design. Not only will companies stretch "business relationship" to the limit, they'll fall all over themselves to hurl recorded messages. I have never listened to a pre-recorded message from a company in my life unless I CALLED THEM. If I have a right to not be called by a person, I have a right to not be called by a machine, especially when you consider the only difference: A person reading from a script pauses to breathe. The machine doesn't. That's about it.
