Comments:
I am strongly opposed to any rule change which would permit telemarketing calls. Pre-recorded calls are an annoying waste of my time, and I am opposed to any rule change which would allow them to be made by anyone, including a company which I have an established relationship with. There are many companies which I am forced to have relationships with, including credit card, insurance and banking companies who harrass me with recorded calls. I have never found any prerecorded message to be of any help or interest, and I urge the FCC to ban them completely.
