Under no circumstances should the Do Not Call rule be relaxed in any manner. I pay for my phone service and I do not want to pay for it so that others may use it for their advertising. In addition, recorded calls do not immediately terminate meaning that if I need to make an emergency call, I am unable to do so. If companies I have established a business relationship with want to contact me they can send mail through the US Postal service at their expense.
