The Do Not Call list is a triumph for the consumer. It provides peace and quiet, free from annoying sales pitches and high pressure tactics. Now the FTC is considering a loophole, while well intentioned, would just take away the newly granted peace and quiet of the consumer. With internet technology making phone calls easier and cheaper then ever before, if this loophole is allowed to exist, you are just taking back the rights you gave consumers previously and subjecting them to unwanted, unasked for, in your face sales pitches. Too bad folks just can't accept that we could do without their wonderful (note the sarcasm, please) advertising. It is very simple. If we want it, we will ask for it. If we don't ask for it, we do not want it, and no matter how much you try and try and annoy and anoy.... we just do NOT WANT IT. It's that simple. Thumbs way down.
