I am outraged by the thought of opening up the rules on the "Do Not Call" list to allow any unsolicited calls whether they be pre-recorded or otherwise. The past several months have been so nice with no more telemarketing calls. I can actually sit through a peaceful dinner with my family without getting up to answer 3-4 telemarketing phone calls. Rather than loosening the rules on the registry, I would rather see them tightened to also prevent companies that I do business with from calling to sell me additional services. I do not appreciate being called during dinner on the weekdays or early in the monfing on the weekend. Any lobbying from the telemarketer's associations should be completely dismissed in favor of the majority of Americans who signed up on the list. I am obviously not alone in my views.
