I am vehimently opposed to this amendment. This Do Not Call list was one of the best moves made to protect people's sanity against the wave of advertisements we are constantly being bombarded with. If I want to know more about a product, particularly one where I may have an 'established business relationship', I will contact the business. My home is my space -- I pay my taxes, I pay for my phone, I pay for my Internet and email -- aside from television it not being funded by advertisements. I do not want the peace of my home disturbed by advertisement calls of any kind -- recorded or otherwise! Before the Do Not Call List was initiated, citizens like myself had no _practical_ recourse against advertisers bothering us at home. Please do not undo the good you have done.
