|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:It was my understanding that the do not call registry allowed Americans a means to simply stop unwanted telephone solicitations. Pre-recorded messages are no different than a human solicitor in the eyes of the public. In fact, these calls are often more annoying because they offer no means for rebutle or removal. Please do the right thing, keep the registry for what it was meant; to reduce the abuse we recieve from these companies, and protect Americans right to choose not to have phone solicitations.
