Please done even THINK of changing the rules to let telemarketers clutter up our private answering machines with their sales pitches. They do it already, and I, for one, just hate coming home and having to let them run their tapes. My home is my private place and I'm finally happy to receive few sales phone calls. The idea of allowing marketers to dump on my answering machine is just gross. Shame on the FTC for even thinking of such a betrayal of Americans.
