I am opposed to the proposed amendment by the Direct Marketer's Association and opposed to allowing prerecorded calls to households that have chosen to be on the Do Not Call List. Our household is on the "Do Not Call List". We are on the list for a reason -- we do not want calls from Marketers. We do not care if we have done business with the marketers in the past or not. I will repeat -- we do not want calls from Marketers. We do not want to have to request individually of marketers that they not call us.
