I do not wish to have any company, whether or not I do business with them, to be able to call my home in order to advertise in any way. I am very much opposed to the proposed amendment of the Telemarketing Sales Rule to create an additional call abandonment safe harbor to allow telemarketing calls that deliver a prerecorded message to consumers with whom the seller on whose behalf the calls are made has an established business relationship. I pay the phone bills for the private use of my home and cell line. When the advertisers pay my phone bill they can use my phone to advertize their products. Furthermore, the law to keep telemarketers from using my phone at their will to pester me trying to sell their junk should be expedited in order to give the consumers relief from their incessant agravations.
