I cannot believe the idiocy of a proposal to bypass people's express wishes not to be contacted by telemarketing calls. We who registered for the Federal Do Not Call list, who for years supported the efforts to create such a protection of our private lives from the interests of businesses, DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE TELEMARKETING CALLS. We don't care if the calls come from attractive models, robotic recordings, or trained South American Conures- we DO NOT WANT TO BE DISTURBED AT HOME BY TELEMARKETERS. Mr. Allen Hile, please do not allow the Voice Mail Broadcasting Corp the loophole they want to bypass the wishes of those people registered on the tremendously popular Do Not Call Registry. If we wanted their calls, we would not have registered, and the courts have already decided that business corporations do not have the right to contact those who don't wish it by ruling against the challenges to the Do Not Call list. Telemarketers ought to have ! received the message by now.
