At least in our home, the “Do Not Call Registry” has been a huge success. In my seventy years I have not seen that many government programs that have done as promised, and then some. The “Do Not Call Registry” has eliminated approximately 70-80% of the unwanted solicitations that we were receiving. Now, you are about to give the telemarketers another tool with which to invade our privacy. It makes one wonder just who our government works for, the people, or big money. I think this proposed change in the law pretty much tells it like it is. Please enter me and my wife to those who oppose this change in the law. Remember the old adage “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
