I am 100% opposed to changing the current status of the Do Not Call Registry. The Registry has made a big difference in the calmness of my household. It is not an exaggeration to say that it has enhanced our family quality time to not have constant interruptions during meals, etc. I would never, ever, make a purchase/contribution based on a prerecorded message, and the disuption of these meaningless calls would put us right back to where we were before the Registry was created. This proposed loophole would essentially eviscerate the Registry and render it useless. Please do not allow such a change!
