I can NOT believe the FTC is seriously considering this! As I understand it, if I do business, ie. purchase a single product from anyone, that would give them the right to call and call and call in a prerecorded attempt to sell me something else. So, why have the registry in the first place? Name one person out there that hasn't purchased some sort of goods from someone! The Do Not Call Registry was put in place for a reason. And this is precicely the reason it was put into effect. To this day it has worked exceedingly well. Why take a step backwards in time? I am opposed to the proposed rule changes!
