Comments:
We have enjoyed the near-absence of annoying, intrusive telemarketing phone calls since activation of the Do Not Call Registry. WE DO NOT WANT ANY RELAXATION OF THE RESTRICTIONS, TO PERMIT TELEMARKETING WHETHER FROM ANY SO-CALLED "ESTABLISHED BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP" OR NOT. My bank or other entity with whom we may have had business dealngs will no doubt continue to send us junkmail; but I don't want them calling me to promote merchandise or services! We likewise want no weakening of any other provisions placed on the direct marketing purveyors.
