I am writing for a number of friends and relatives who do NOT wish to receive pre-recorded calls from any source. The Do Not Call Registry appears to be working well and should be left as it is. Companies claim a prior relationship even if they have bought names and addresses from another source. Also, the fact that you have made a purchase or inquiry at a prior time does not signify that you then were happy with the product or the service. Free advertising for the company at my expense and inconvenience is NOT acceptable.
