Please do not open up any loopholes that allow businesses to make additional calls. 1. New technologies will allow businesses to subvert yours and the homeowners ability to enforce rules. 2. Again the consumer becomes responsible to supervise the calls. We must try to turn in the offending business, (usually with blocked Caller id's or phantom information on the caller id) or be responsible to "opt out", which means that we still need to answer the phone and perform an action. Which defeats the purpose of having a rule that gives consumers confidence that only friends and relatives should be calling on their phones. And freedom from dinner time nuisance calls.
