Please do not weaken in any way the do-not-call-registry. This is the best thing the government has done for me in years! Seriously consider expanding the list to prohibit political calls. Living in a tossup state these last few months has been a nightmare. And while you're being nice to me, prohibit charitable calls as well. Finally, the creation of an established business relatiohship through the casual purchase of a product is stretching the definition of a relationship. It should require two parties to create a relationship. The opting out option is all backwards. I should instead be given the option of opting IN. If I refuse then there should be no relationship. Also, businesses should not be permitted to require one to receive junk mail and junk calls as a part of doing business with them.
