Do not weaken the Do Not Call regulations. Do Not Call means just that. It includes recorded calls, which many feel are even more objectionable than a live person. Since the Do Not Call registry took effect, my telephone has been wonderfully silent. I and the millions of other people who welcomed the Do Not Call registry do NOT want ANY calls soliciting our business, donations, contributions, or any other kind of uninvited calls. Do not weaken the Do Not Call registry in any way. Similar legislation regarding email, cell phones, and other means of communication would be a great addition. to STOP the deluge of unwelcome email and other messages. Am I being perfectly clear? I want stronger do not call legislation, not weakened ones. Unwelcome calls, email spam... and the like... are scourges on everyday living. We are drowning in it. Legitamate communication gets lost among this flood.
