Comments:
A change in the DO NOT CALL Registery law to allow telemarketers to deliver prerecorded messages totally undercuts the purpose of that law. There is no distinction between receiving and unwanted call from a live person calling at will, and that of receiving unwanted prerecorded messages. The result is the same, an unwanted and annoying intrusion. I cannot fathom how the FTC's actually and honestly believes the proposed change will not have any dramatic results. DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES (concessions to telemarketers) TO THIS LAW!!! This law is working exactly as intended.
