RE: loophole to allow unwanted calls. I am adamantly against telephone spam. I can't believe the FCC is even considering such a proposal. The practice of soliciting by phone and intruding in the sanctity of one's home had gotten out of control. I averaged 3 to 4 calls each day, a big inconvenience in my home. After private citizens complained about being swamped by unwanted calls the government introduced the "do not call" list. Those who chose not to receive intruding commercial calls in their private homes signed up on this list. This method has been very successful. Why would the government even consider opening up the flood gates again? And to allow "recorded spam" is the utmost in spam irritation. Perhaps the advertisers are putting more pressure on the FCC than the consumers but if the FCC allows these recorded messages to slip into our homes again they will be bombarded from the "silent majority". Thank you
