I want to voice my strong opposition to the FTC's consideration of opening up a loophole in the national Do Not Call Registry law that would enable telemarketers to deliver prerecorded messages to voicemail systems. I registered with the FTC's Do Not Call Registry in order to avoid the constant invasion of my free time at home. I find it an extreme invasion of my privacy to continue to permit companies to market their goods when I have expressly asked not to be contacted. I have no desire to receive calls from any company that I have not already contacted. The calls come at all times, day and night, and disrupt the private time I wish to have alone with family and/or friends. Please do not consider this loophole, for it truly is a breach of one's privacy, especially when millions of homes have requested an end to this extreme invasion. The prerecorded messages are worse than live voices for they repeat and go on for long periods of time. I resent the fact that my personal space is invaded with this nonsense, of which I have absolutely no desire to be a part of. I hope you will listen to the concerns of those of us who truly feel our privacy is being invaded, even inundated, with these worthless phone calls. Thank you, Carolyn Holisz
