Comments:
I am opposed to any modification of the "Do Not Call" registry which would allow pre-recorded message telemarketing. Such a modification would, in my opinion, void the protections of unwarranted intrusion which was intended by the regulation in the first place. In these days of increasing use of spam on the internet, such calls would be more "spam" facilitated by use of the telephone. Furthermore, with increased use of cell phones, this would potentially cause customers additional, unwanted charges in their bills. Please reject this proposed rule.
