How peaceful my home has been since I signed up on the Do Not Call registry. No more calls during supper. No more interrupted conversations to answer the phone unnecessarily five or six times a night. Please DO NOT allow this loophole. It is irritating enough to have a live person on the other end of the phone trying to sell me something. I can only imagine how frustrating it would be if I got up and walked across the room to answer the phone for a recorded message. In addition, I have started to get those LONG recorded messages on my answering machine. They take up space that should be reserved for legitimate messages from family and friends. Again, I urge you to reconsider this loophole. Please do not allow for these recorded-message phone calls. They are a nuisance.
