According to Firefox, this website is not secure and they advise not to put personal information on this form -- hence the annonymous name. However, I am most unhappy with the FTC's decision to force the closing of the Rochester Road Store (Quality) in Lockport, N.Y. This store is of great convenience, located in an easily accessible area, has a full service pharmacy, and a great staff of employees. Shutting this store down will displace many senior citizens and others who have come to rely on it for decades. If as a senior citizen I wanted to shop elsewhere for any reason I could. I am now dumb and do not need the FTC to check prices for me. Since Tops took over for Penn Traffic there have been improvements to the store -- more varied stock, some price reductions with Tops sales, etc. There are other stores in the Lockport area if I wanted to shop there -- an Aldi's, a Budwey's, two other Tops, a few discount groceries, etc., none of which I choose to patronize. Aldi's stock is too limited, Budway's is a drive away, the Wrights Corner's Tops is a small store with limited stock and no pharmancy; the Tops on Transit Road in loLockport is filthy, chaotic, disorganized, their parking lot is in crisis mode all of the time with poor security, etc. The FTC is NOT helping the public by closing this store -- putting people out of work, making people drive further (costs gasoline, air pollution, traffic risks, loss of time and convenience, etc.) It's about time that the FTC (along with the FDA) began to work in the public's best interest. Let Tops run this store and let local citizens make the choice of where they wsant to shop and spend their money. We don't need you to be our parent snd/or big brother protector. I'm nearly 70 years old and I do not need the FTC to run interference for me. I'm not stupid!!!
